About the business

When the company Director was working on a project or assignment being 100% committed to that client was a priority. As a freelance consultant finding the time to keep on top of the admin side of the business, stay in regular touch with past clients and identify new business opportunities was creating unnecessary stress.

How we helped

The Paperwork Team provided flexible support tailored to the company’s needs over a six-month period. By handling administrative and client-related tasks, we allowed the Director to focus on delivering high-quality consultancy work without the added stress of managing day-to-day operations.

What we did

  • Established a flexible weekly schedule, with tasks agreed every Friday via conference call or in-person meetings.
  • Created and produced training materials and presentations.
  • Liaised with the Director’s clients on her behalf.
  • Managed quotations, invoicing, and hotel bookings.
  • Conducted telephone research for a project that would have otherwise been declined due to time constraints.
  • Provided a valuable sounding board for business ideas and new initiatives, leveraging industry expertise.

Where we are now

Following the support provided, the Director was able to maintain focus on consultancy work while effectively managing business operations. Eventually, she decided to retire from the corporate training and consultancy sector, moving back to her hometown in Wales. She has since started a web design and photography business with her partner who we also support.
