Meet The Paperwork Team

This is us, a team of UK experienced bookkeeping and administration assistants who are passionate about helping clients enjoy running their businesses.

Meet your administration experts

Our team members are all based in the UK, whether we’re in Shipston-on-Stour, Warwick, Cirencester or somewhere nearby. We understand the 9-5 workday and the challenges of running a small business. But most importantly, we care about providing our clients with the best service. You can email us, call us, or book a meeting – whatever you need, we’re here to support you without compromising on flexibility.

About Kate

The Paperwork Team was born in 2011 out of the desire to share my skills and experience to help others get their admin and bookkeeping organised. I love technology and systems, being creative, and have a passion for good customer service.

My husband and I have lived in the area for many years, and I have two grown-up children as well as two reasonably well-behaved Border Collies, who can quite often be found lying around my feet in the office while I am working.

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, sharing a meal or a coffee with family and friends, and walking with the dogs out in our beautiful countryside.
Kirsten​

Kirsten​

About Kirsten

Kirsten’s expertise in accountancy processes, software, and integrating apps and add-ons is remarkable. Her background in administration and research, coupled with her incredible technical knowledge, adds significant value to the team.

She is calm in a crisis and builds a great rapport with the clients and team that she works with.

In her free time she enjoys gardening and gaming, and in cold weather can always be found with coffee and a book.

Martin​

About Martin​​

Martin has spent the last 12 years working as a Business Analyst/Support Analyst and SQL Developer in the finance sector, in the cities of London, Singapore, Tokyo and Utrecht (Netherlands).

Experienced in system implementations, documentation, data mapping, system testing and providing spreadsheet solutions to process all kinds of data. He also works as an editor for MA students, ensuring that their work successfully reaches the required standards.  

Martin has successfully built two houses in Brazil, which he rents out to tourists wishing to visit the country.
Carol

Carol

About Carol

Carol's 20-year career began in the South African National Defence Force's communications and signals department. She then successfully ran her own company, handling everything from employees and clients to payroll and accounts. She's also experienced in real estate. At the Paperwork Team, Carol thrives on problem-solving, investigating discrepancies, and tackling new projects. She enjoys the challenge of balancing difficult accounts and organising chaotic systems.

Outside of work, Carol walks her German Shepherd, renovates properties, plays computer games, and dances to loud music. Her motto? "Every day is a gift, let's have fun!

Olena

About Olena

Olena joined the Paperwork Team with an impressive portfolio of successful social media and digital marketing campaigns, often achieved with zero budget.

She has extensive experience in graphic design and photography and stays up to date with the industry’s fast-changing trends. Her work as a photographer and designer on cruise ships allowed her to travel widely while gaining experience in an international team.

Olena takes the time to understand her clients and creates powerful images to enhance their branding, whether for a new business or a rebrand to reflect their values.

She loves challenges and believes nothing is impossible. Her greatest value in life is her family.

Rachel

About Rachel

Rachel has been providing HR consultancy since 2003 working with small and medium-sized companies and covering a wide variety of industries including manufacturing, services, hospitality and retail.  Her background is in generalist HR management roles up to and including board level.

She now uses this extensive experience of applying employment legislation in a diverse range of different situations to guide our clients through personnel issues and avoid or resolve problems. 

She believes in keeping things as simple as possible and providing solutions that are easy to understand and implement. When she’s not doing HR work, you’ll usually find her exploring the forest, writing a book, or restoring the old mill house that she’s lucky enough to call home.

Abby

About Abby

Abby has 13 years of experience working as an accounts assistant. Her background is in both purchase and sales ledger, and she has a love for both numbers and SAGE. She is AAT qualified.

Away from work Abby enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 children and their English Bulldog Gilbert. She is a dual citizen of both UK & USA. She enjoys baking, learning new things and planning holidays. Making it a personal mission to take her children abroad to a different country each year, she rarely watches television due to her restless nature and she loves chocolate brownies.
Paula

About Paula

With over 30 years in administrative roles, Paula brings a wealth of experience to The Paperwork Team. Her career began in Banking, followed by 10 years as a PA in the education sector and then the Solar Industry. With a positive can-do attitude coupled with her good humour, Paula possesses strong organisational skills and has a proven track record in customer service and administration. Paula enjoys finding ways to help clients streamline tasks and maximise efficiency by developing processes.

In her spare time, you will often find her off camping, out walking in the countryside or engrossed in a puzzle.
Ella

Ella

About Ella

Ella is a recent graduate of the University of Birmingham, where she studied Maths. She enjoys working with different members of the team on a variety of projects. Always up for a challenge, she’s great at problem solving and is always willing to learn something new.

In her free time, she enjoys reading and crocheting, as well as spending time with friends and family.

Nichola

About Nichola

At the start of Nichola's working career, she spent 15 years in the NHS where she discovered a love for data analysis, financial projections and investigatory skills. Since then, she has developed these skills and has been involved with the financial management of a number of businesses, from a large private healthcare provider right down to small family run businesses. Her strengths lie in her meticulous attention to detail. She excels at translating tax regulations into clear and understandable explanations for clients, ensuring they are fully informed and confident in their decisions. Nichola's patience, empathy, and active listening, build relationships with clients that are based on trust and transparency.  
 
When she wants to relax away from work, Nichola enjoys yoga, playing board games, reading books and exploring the countryside with her husband, son and dalmatian. 
Jasmine

Jasmine

About Jasmine

Jasmine has a background in marketing and editorial photography, which she studied at university, as well as a strong interest in graphic design. She loves being creative and finds inspiration through travel, particularly spending time in Cyprus. Her passion for creativity drives her work and helps her approach each project with a fresh perspective.

In her spare time, Jasmine enjoys reading, working on a new creative project, such as embroidery, and socialising with friends.
Lucinda

Lucinda

About Lucinda

Lucinda's impressive career journey spans diverse sectors, from professional kitchens to executive support within tech. With over 20 years supporting CEOs, she's adept at managing international diaries, high-profile events, and sensitive communications.  
 
Her background also includes wholesale car stock financing, providing training and process support. This varied experience, including travel coordination and customer-facing roles, equips her with a remarkably broad skillset.  
 
Outside of work, Lucinda finds joy exploring the stunning landscapes of Yorkshire, the Lake District, and Scotland with her husband. At home, she shares her space with Grohl, the family's charismatic Bengal cat.
